AvandaRocks is more than a race. It is a community driven by a passion for enduro, adventure and the outdoors.
Born in Valle de Bravo, AvandaRocks was created by riders, for riders, with a clear vision: to raise the level of Hard Enduro in Mexico and bring it to the international stage.
Behind the event are years of experience in racing, event organization and the development of the sport, with a commitment to creating an authentic, challenging and unforgettable experience for riders and spectators alike.
How it all began?
AvandaRocks was born in 2015 in the forests of Valle de Bravo, driven by the vision and passion of Jesús Zavala, one of the pioneers of Hard Enduro in Mexico and an experienced international competitor.
After years of competing in some of the world’s most demanding races, a clear idea emerged: to create an event in Mexico with the same level of challenge, authenticity and spirit.
From the beginning, the project was built through a collaborative effort, combining extensive racing experience with strong organization, logistics and event management. These foundations shaped what AvandaRocks has become today.
What began as a passion-driven initiative quickly grew into a platform for the development of Hard Enduro in Mexico.
The evolution of the event
Over the years, AvandaRocks has continued to evolve:

The urban Prologue was introduced in Avándaro, bringing Hard Enduro closer to spectators.

The technical difficulty increased, incorporating increasingly demanding Hard Enduro and trials-style sections.

The organization, safety standards and course design became increasingly professional.

Participation from both Mexican and international riders continued to grow.

The event developed into a complete experience combining sport, entertainment and community.
Today, AvandaRocks combines the roots of classic enduro with modern Hard Enduro, establishing itself as one of the leading events of its kind in Latin America.
The growth of the event also reflects the evolution of the sport in Mexico, with a new generation of riders growing up within this culture and beginning to compete internationally.
Among them is Stanislas Zavala, part of a new generation taking Mexican Hard Enduro onto the international stage.
